Split sump (S-950 only)

The Peninsula S-950 G3+ models come with the unique split-sump system: The main sump is refugium-ready, and has an adjustable-height skimmer chamber, micron filter bags and media cups.

The extension sump can be used for a dedicated frag tank, a larger refugium, or simply for extra filtration.
Alternatively, the extension sump can be disconnected from the main sump, and used as an R/O reservoir or for saltwater changes.

The REEFER MAX Peninsula G3+ incorporates either the ReefLED G2 115 or ReefLED G2 170 lights, along with their respective custom mounting systems.  

At the heart of each ReefLED G2 unit is a compact LED array that delivers a rich, reef-safe spectrum. It can be tuned from a 10,000K reef-white to a 23,000K REEF-SPEC blue, all running at full intensity. The REEF-SPEC blue is augmented with violet, UV, and boosted to 470nm at the high end of the PUR spectrum, and a separate dedicated 3W Moonlight channel provides low levels of light for reef-safe nighttime viewing.

ReefLED G2s are controlled by Red Sea’s ReefBeat App, which provides a wide range of easy to use functions such as random clouds, acclimation for new installations, a lunar cycle for the moonlights, and customized light settings, such as for coral photography or a UV look.

The custom mounting system attaches firmly onto the rear wall of the tank and can be rotated to the upright position during reef scaping or other tank maintenance. The REEFER G3 Peninsula comes with a customized hanging system for the ReefLED G2 lights.
